Overview
Drupal is one of the most versatile and widely adopted open source Content Management Systems in the world. It is highly modular and easy to customize with thousands of available themes and modules.
For content authors, Bitnami pre-configures Drupal with popular plugins like Ctools, Apache Solr search, Google Analytics and Views. Bitnami also includes the Pathauto and SMTP plugins for SEO URLs and email notifications. The pre-installed Drush CLI makes it easy for non-technical users to upgrade Drupal.
For developers, Bitnami provides the latest versions of Drupal, PHP, Apache, MariaDB and phpMyAdmin. It is secure by default, as all ports except HTTP, HTTPS and SSH ports are closed and DDoS prevention is enabled. HTTPS, HTTP/2, name-based vhosts with SNI and Let's Encrypt auto-configuration are all supported.

Once the instance is running, enter the public DNS provided by Amazon into your browser. You will then see the Drupal application. You can go to '/user/login' from your browser to access the application administration panel. The default server administrator is 'user'. Please check our documentation at https://docs.bitnami.com/aws/faq/get-started/find-credentials/ to learn how to get your password. You may change this username and password within the application settings. You can also access your instance via SSH using the username 'bitnami' and your Amazon private key. Not able to login to the AWS IPv4 DNS
I am not able to log in to the Public IPv4 DNS. It's always throwing me this error - "To log in to this site, your browser must accept cookies from the domain ec2-54-147-185-191.compute-1.amazonaws.com. ". I have tried in multiple browser.
I love the CMS! I hate updating it.
Drupal updates are nearly impossible using this delivery system. Bitnami doesn't offer any phone or email support. Major upgrades are problematic and I would avoid this if possible.
Easy install
Not sure why the user complained about difficulty finding the default admin password. You right click on the ec2 and pop the system log up then scroll down a bit. Entire setup took less than 10 minutes.
Horrible!
Why make it so difficult to find the password for a simple application
I wish i could give you ZERO Star
Works fine but without email
This AMI works fine as a starting point to start with Drupal or to get your Drupal installation into AWS. I like this AMI because it includes Drupal and I have to admit I'm a "Drupal fanboy". Nevertheless there is a down point with this AMI. The email functions within Drupal (i.e. password recovery) do not work out of the box, that's why this AMI only gets 4 stars from me.
