What do you like best about the product?
Informatica PowerCentre to Alation is one of the best tools in the field of data analytics. It has a great database storage space and avoids lagging of the software. It serves the smoothest data export function among all the software that I have used this far.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has no big issues to run the software but it sometimes shows up with debugging that alters the working and pace of the software. The company should have insight into it and resolve this glitch to make it more convenient in working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Informatica PowerCentre to Alation is a great tool that I have been using for almost 1 year and it is very helpful in an order to work on metadata with its great database feature. I would recommend everyone to have hands-on it.

What do you like best about the product?
The large volume of data can be shared easily with colleagues without any delay. One can easily create Data duplication and share it with colleguaes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial deployment and configuration require a good amount of time. Initially, it seems to be difficult to use the tool, but after spending some time one can easily use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team needs to work upon a large volume of data and sharing that data with PowerCenter is easy and there is no delay in it. Sometimes we need to create duplicate data, which can also be done with Power Center.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes the data cataloging work easy while transforming the data with it's easy intergation with informatica and Alation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Considering the features and integration it offer, tool is quite handy I don't see any negatives, it serves the purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cataloging the heavy industrial data for one of our aviation clients, it made the work easy

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to configure and use. It is a good tool for cataloging the data while transforming and used it while working for huge data migration of financial services projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, it came as a boon when we are searching for SaaS solution that helps build data categories, but the pricing is a little bit on the higher end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We migrated a huge chunk of data from in-house servers to hybrid infrastructure, at that time it helped a lot to categorize the data based on pre-defined conditions and tag them.
