Overview
NVIDIA IndeX® is a 3D volumetric, interactive visualization SDK that allows scientists and researchers to visualize and interact with massive data sets, make real-time modifications, and navigate to the most pertinent parts of the data, all in real-time, making it possible to gather better insights faster. NVIDIA IndeX leverages GPU-accelerated clusters for scalable, real-time, visualization, and computing of multi-valued volumetric data together with embedded geometry data. Benefits include:
- Accurate: high-quality data visualization, feature representation, and annotation.
- Scalability: Transparently scales across multiple NVIDIA GPUs, as well as, across multiple nodes. Node count can be selected upfront and the number of workers can be changed dynamically through horizontal scaling.
- Extensibility: Flexibility for a variety of application domains.
This offering of NVIDIA IndeX can run in a Kubernetes cluster. NVIDIA IndeX requires NVIDIA GPU(s) for the application to run. Visualization and interaction is done through the NVIDIA IndeX native web viewer.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
