This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and for providing it in a simple consumable AMI. Apache Web Server is the most widely used web server software. It is fast, reliable, secure, and can be highly customized to meet the needs of many different environments by using extensions and modules. We are providing a customized version by integrating with Prometheus monitoring and a simple Monitoring Dashboard. This helps you to seamlessly build your web server contents and monitor the Apache Webserver as you deploy in your production environment.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Subscribe to our AMI from AWS Marketplace. Once you launch the AMI you are all set there is no other customization required from your end. Assign an elastic IP to the instance to see the monitoring Dashboards. You will be able to see your Apache Web Server metrics by going to http://elasticIP:3000 . As soon as you log in with username "admin" you will be requested to change your password from default "admin". ssh to the instance with the pem file that you created while launching the instance. The www folder is located in /var/www/ please add the required files related to your webserver to have the server serve your content.
