Overview
This is a fully configured and ready-to-use MTProxy server for Telegram on Debian. This server uses MTProto network protocol, developed by the Telegram team. In addition to encrypting traffic, this server can advertise the Telegram channel that you specify - you just have to share your proxy link.
The stability of Telegram's global operation is ensured by a large number of proxy servers around the world. We suggest launching and using your own proxy server that uses the MTProto protocol, developed by the Telegram team specifically for the Telegram application. The main features of this protocol are high encryption protection and traffic disguise through port 443, which ensures the stable operation of the Telegram application even when the provider tries to restrict Internet access.
To encourage the use of proxy servers, Telegram offers the ability to enable channel advertising and provides access to the statistics of proxy server usage. For this, the server can be registered in Telegram using a bot. You can specify the name of the Telegram channel that you want to promote using your proxy server. In this case, the selected channel will be at the top of the channel list and marked as sponsored for all Telegram users who use your proxy server. You choose the channel for promotion yourself - after that, you just have to share your proxy link.
This server is very easy to use and requires almost no configuration. It is fully operational immediately after launching.

Attach the elastic IP to the instance (recommended) and launch the server. This server does not require powerful computing resources, so you can choose a simple instance type.

Connect to port 22 of the server using an SSH terminal with the username: admin. On the Linux welcome screen, you will see all the necessary information for connecting clients to this server. You will also be invited to register this server in Telegram using the @MTProxybot bot.

Configure the use of this proxy server in your applications. You can do this using a direct proxy link for desktop computers, a QR code for mobile devices, or manually. If you want to set up a proxy server on the desktop version of Telegram manually, click "Settings" - "Advanced" - "Connection type" - "Use custom proxy". Then select "MTPROTO" and enter the provided Hostname (IP address), port (443), and Secret (Proxy key). The application should then start working through your proxy server. In the Android version of the Telegram messenger, the settings can be found under: "Settings" - "Data and Storage" - "Proxy Settings".

To be able to promote the selected channel and gain access to your server statistics, you can register your proxy server on Telegram. To do this, please contact the bot @MTProxybot and type /newproxy. After registering, you will receive a "tag" which needs to be written to the file: "/etc/systemd/system/proxytag". To do this correctly, please execute the following command in the SSH terminal: "sudo bash /home/admin/update_tag.sh". To monitor the proxy statistics and set up the channel to promote, please send the /myproxies command to the @MTProxybot bot in Telegram and follow the instructions.
