The best low code / no code platform
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of use, very easy to connect to any platform, ability to create custom connectors easily, recipe design is super simple and workato helps with data pills suggestions, constant improvements (while loop, elsif etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
customer support in chat is tedious, usually they don't have the technical knowledge to identify the problem quick enough and they keep you in chat for an hour before they escalate it further
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
development time - workato recipe development is super fast comparing to other integrations platforms or code
connectors - thousands of plug and play connectors that allow simple connection and taking actions without writing code
triggering processes - we have many processes that we want to trigger via slack bot / google form / file dropped in Drive etc. and workato handles this super easy and super fast

Crazy Powerful, but steep learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
There isnt much you can not do with the tool as far as automations. Some may take a bit of creative solutioning, but the integtrations and capabilitties are endless. there is also a robust training library to help along the way
What do you dislike about the product?
Very steep learngin curve. Takes a lot of trial and error until things are built correctly. I wish there was a mopre simple way to test automations in a step by step capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating data flows and communications via the tool. this removes hours of manual workl a day and creates a more seemless experience for the teams we support.
Workato iPaaS user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Plenty of API, SQL ready and plenty of resources in knowledgebase. Highly secured worksapce for a SaaS product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Must be log on via email, which means any new users must have an email account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating different applications for real time data load and data management.
One stop shop for nearly all your IT automation needs
What do you like best about the product?
Workato is an extremely easy to use and onboard tool, which is quickly taking over the integration space with numerous features and platform capabilities. They have an extensive roadmap with frequent releases, and has been an extremely reliable platform for our IT operations. We were able to migrate nearly all of our legacy iPaas integrations over to Workato with 0 issues.

There is not much to dislike about Workato

Workato has helped us connect enterprise systems faster than ever before. There are solutions available for a number of use cases across ETL, automation, integration and API management which have made it a frictionless experience to rollout integrations.

Ease of use, very flat learning curve. Flexible enough to allow more advanced processes

some features are behind a pricy license like advanced recipe management and detailed logging
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating and automating variosu marketing systems
Workato is awesome and saved us a LOT of time (aka money)
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly set up multiple automations, with or without supporting code that we have the option to custom author, that executed daily and connected Salesforce (our system of record) with other systems like Survey Monkey, Canvas, Slack, etc. was game changing for us. I would estimate that what we accomplished through Workato would have required a team of 3-4 full-time developers otherwise. Customer support was always prompt, helpful and on point. Very easy for even non-coders to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to complain about anything, I'd love to get all the dev-ops functionality included in the standard offering. Frankly I'm not sure if that's still a separate offering that requires additional spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to hire developers for straight-forward technical integrations is a game-changer.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Not all prebuilt connectors are perfect, but if you find a shortfall workato gives you the ability to go as custom as you need to in order to rectify it.

Workato works as an all in one integration layer connecting all of our business systems to our ERP
Clean interface, robust functionality, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, even for people with little technical background. There is also a lot of robust functionality for people with more tehcnical expertise. I also like how many apps that you can connect to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there were more formulas for manipulating text and numbers. I'm sure custom scripting could be used to accomplish that, but more out of the box formulas would be great for less technical users.

We use workato to automate rote processes. Very helpful for moving information around our system.

Reusability and technical leverage due to the wide reach of use cases. Customers are glad to receive streamlined and extra features so quickly.

Like any platform, takes a while to get hold of it. But there is good documentation and great customer support
