Infusionsoft and Quickbooks Online Sync
What do you like best about the product?
Removes double-entry between applications (once recipes are setup and, when they work).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not plug-and-play between two very popular and widely used applications (Infusionsoft and Quickbooks Online). Expensive for limited functionality (in my opinion) for a company of our size (5 employees). Too time consuming for me to learn and create recipes on my own, even with the free webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has eliminated some double-entry by creating new customers in Infusionsoft automatically when they are first created in Quickbooks Online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your homework. Someone with 1) a simpler Quickbooks Online configuration, 2) more time to learn and implement configuration of the Workato recipes, 3) more experience with this type of programming and a bigger budget for overhead could do a lot with this software. We use job #'s as sub-clients of the parent (actual client) and have some clients with multiple businesses and/ or multiple properties and this created a ton of challenges in the setup to avoid duplicates coming over from Quickbooks Online into Infusionsoft. So much so that we shelved the majority of cross-program functionality for now to focus on other things, thus we are only experiencing a small fraction of the integration possible. BTW: We are an Electrical and General Contracting Business.

Workato improves efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
Workato really helps to improve my teams efficiency by integrated disparate systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some services are missing, and I have to use other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to sync our AP and Finance software systems
Workato has saved us hundreds of man hours

It is easily configurable without needing to be a developer

After changing the scheduled jobs you have to remap everything

It has helped us integrate with other systems and streamline our workflows in real time
Zapier on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Workato is a perfect blend between a simple out of the box connection with Zapier and a hiring a developer to create a custom integration. It can create complex integrations without the expense of a custom developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything to really dislike about Workato.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to create integrations between CRM's and google calendar and other apps that helped to automate processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be shy to reach out to them for support or to help create complex recipies.

parsing data between multiple applications

I feel the product is worthwhile if you need applications to send data to each other, I'd hire an expert to implement more advanced features beyond standard recipes
The bridge to complete automation
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to connect different apps that my company already uses into 1 centralized location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constant contact is not a workable connection. This would greatly help us in marketing efforts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our invoicing process is completely automated to the point where invoices are generated and sent out each month. We have cut out man hours and mistakes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you haven't used workato before ore anything similar I'd suggest you use a 3rd party vendor to help.
Great experience, helps with Salesforce on a daily basis

They email you everything you need. It has been a breeze with workato.

We have had no issues at all. It has been great!

we were completely on paper and workato has made everything automatic and so easy!
Great product for third party integrations and automation
What do you like best about the product?
A large selection of connectors and different recipes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation should be more detailed and provide more examples. Some of the connectors do not fully utilize the third party platforms api's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to integrate third party platforms with just a point and click interface. This product allows you to build logic into your recipe which is very beneficial.
Simple and easy recipes for integrating platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use - drag and drop, interface that is easy to understand and that makes sense to people who aren't necessarily as technical. Plus the breadth of recipe options is great! I found several that would work for my purposes
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great for simple and easy integrations but less effective when those integrations require exceptions, customization, etc - but thats not really what its designed for so I can hardly find fault in it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple in-house integration needs for solving workflow issues and making sure our platforms are in sync. We don't really use it for client needs but internally it serves us well.
Very powerful software but tricky for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic support is provided by Workato support agents. Very strong customisation so you can tailor to your own organisation’s processes. It can integrate most commonly used platforms.

Some apps are missing and it is tricky for automation beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Essentially Workato was able to highlight deficiencies in our processes and help us move towards automation. This saved us time and money over the long term.

Make sure to utilisation the throng support that Workato offers.
