Great tool for team collaboration

  • September 30, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Usability: We use it for internal and external projects, and even if the people involved are not familiar with the tool, it takes them little time to understand how it works and jump into the actual content or purpose of whichever session we have.

2. Amazing tool for organizing, conceptualizing processes, and visualizing ideas. It has been one of our key collaborative tools as a team and in workshops with clients., we use it often.

3. Most recently, the AI feature has been beneficial for summarizing info, getting insights, and processing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes, when moving elements or boards from one Miro to another, the format gets messed up

2. Easier way of locking/unlocking elements. This is key when working with clients or new users, as you'll need to have flexibility on copying elements in the board while also keeping the most elements fixed so users are not confused about elements moving around and just "filling up" the indicated fields.

2. I am sure there are more interesting features to Miro, but maybe because of how they are showcased or where they are located, you never end up knowing about them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we work mainly remotely, it is the team's blank canvas for collaborating in designing projects, reviewing processes, or others.

The best tool i found to easily visualize and organize ideas

  • September 30, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
The live sharing of everything is what makes it more useful for me.

Being able to get together with sometimes more then 20 people and just go wild on a brainstorming session where everyone is just shooting out ideas in their own post-it notes, then being able to very easily organize and go through all of them is amazing, and with the added bonus of not actually needing to be together in the same room, and also not wasting any real paper.

Using it solo to design system architectures, starting from scratch is also very useful, i can start from a very simple set of post it notes and then evolve the complexity of the diagram as needed, easily getting feedback from others at any moment.

The smoothness of the experience is great, and the fact that it also takes almost no time to load any board is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have big things that i dislike, but i would say that there are somethings that its not very suited to do.

An example that I've seen is using for creating a scrum board for tickets, it has flexibility for those things but its much easier to just use a more specific tool like jira for this, that already has a lot of built in useful functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote team work and collaboration without it would be much harder.

Once You Start, You Can’t Stop – A Highly Addictive Collaboration Tool

  • September 28, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Miro more frequently during the pandemic, and it quickly became a go-to tool for team online meetings. It’s incredibly addictive—once you start using it, it's hard to switch to anything else. The flexibility and ease of collaboration make it feel like an essential part of the workflow, especially when working remotely. Even now, I find myself using Miro for almost every project or meeting. It just works, and it keeps our team connected and productive in a way other tools haven't been able to match.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is quite limited, and the pricing for larger teams or more advanced features can add up quickly, which might be a downside for small teams or startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement during meetings has improved. Instead of passive participation, everyone is more engaged because they can actively contribute. This has made our meetings more productive and cut down on the time spent circling back on missed ideas.

Good tool for collaboration

  • September 27, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a good whiteboard app. It allows for segmented sections on the board for easy organization and navigation. The app is quick to set up (browser or desktop) and to learn. I use this in all of our planning meetings, brainstorming, and ideation. It fits in easily to my strategy and capacity planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
With a large team, there can be a lot of movement on the board. It takes a while to get used to seeing all the work going on, but when you do, it's almost magical how easily ideas can be shared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a distributed workforce and Miro allows us to map and brainstorm almost as if we were physically in the same room.

User friendly, enabling collaboration

  • September 27, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows working with others during presentations, its interface is straightforward to learn and use, and its colouring and ready-made template usage is excellent. I open it almost every day. It helped both my doctoral thesis and my business. I never had to call customer support service. For implementation, the user should spend one or two minutes learning the items and tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't work with other board-making applications. We can only send it as an image. This makes collaboration difficult. So, they should improve the possibilities of integration with other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make tables, shapes and graphs that help me visualize what's in my mind and read them quickly when I need them.

Best Presentation/Team Communication Tool

  • September 26, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has the been the best tool to communicate about teammates and stakeholders and what is needed. Can use it during client integration too with it's intutiveness and already available templates makes it very easy to convey the message using the tool
What do you dislike about the product?
The costing though i feel has gone up and there must be some different pricing when we consider the idividual users who might use it for their freelance or own use. Sharing across to view only sometimes doesn't work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of using 2-3 tools for conveying a message among your teammates and not required to create the templates from scratch and instead use the avaialble template makes it easy to use the tool

An extremely versatile platform to support a wide range of collaboration activities

  • September 25, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an extremely versatile platform that supports a wide range of collaboration activities from brainstorming, over note taking, drawing up project plannings, ...
The flexibility of the platform to just drag and drop images, powerpoints, ... on the canvas is super.
It supports very well the way I think (not bound by limits of the page or paragraph structures)
The canvas is also enriched with tools to support voting, time bound exercises, presentation, ...
Getting started with Miro is super easy. The fun thing is that as you work with it you get to explore new possibilities (new functionalities are also frequently added by the Miro team)
What do you dislike about the product?
Some people might not like the fact that everything is cloud based, meaning you need to be connected to access your work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very supportive for story telling (sharing logic, making a story/idea more tangible)
Making problems visual to support finding solutions.
