What payment methods does AWS accept?

Available payment methods vary by AWS seller of record information. Your invoice notes the name of your AWS seller of record.

Amazon.com gift cards and PayPal aren't accepted payment method for AWS services.

Prepaid credit and debit cards are an accepted payment method when issued by the following card issuers.

Note: It's a best practice not to use prepaid cards because if the prepaid balance runs out, then recurring payments might fail. Failed payments can result in the suspension of your AWS account.

Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS Inc.) and AWS Marketplace

• Credit and debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, American Express (USD only), Discover, Diners Club, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), Amazon Store Card, and many others
• China Union Pay (CUP) credit cards
  Note: To create an AWS account, you must use a CUP credit card that supports USD currency.
• ACH direct debit payments (for qualifying customers)

• SEPA direct debit payments (for qualifying customers)
