Why can't Amazon SES publish data to an Amazon SNS topic?

Resolution

To troubleshoot why Amazon SES can't publish to an Amazon SNS topic, complete the following tasks:

• Use the Amazon SNS console to check that the topic still exists. In the navigation bar, choose the AWS Region that you expect the SNS topic to be in. If the topic was deleted, then create a new topic.
• Confirm that the SNS topic is in the same Region as the Amazon SES endpoint that you use to receive emails. For more information, see Publish to Amazon SNS topic action.
• Confirm that the SNS topic's AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) access policy grants access from Amazon SES. For more information, see Using the IAM policy language and Example cases for Amazon SNS access control.
• Check if the SNS topic uses server-side encryption (SSE). If the topic uses SSE, then check the policy of the AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) encryption key that the SNS topic uses. Then, confirm that the key policy grants Amazon SES permissions to the encryption key.
